Do you already have some snowmobiling experience and want to embark on a longer safari? This 80-kilometer snowmobile safari is designed just for you! From Ruka, we’ll head out into the diverse snowmobiling terrains of Kuusamo.
The safari begins at our Willis West base, where we’ll gather and gear up. Before departure, our guide will provide a brief snowmobile introduction and safety instructions, ensuring everyone is confident in handling the snowmobile and familiar with safe riding practices.
Custom Routes for Optimal Conditions
The day’s route is chosen based on weather and trail conditions, guaranteeing the best possible riding experience. The trail winds through frozen marshes, lakes, and snowy forests, offering varied and occasionally challenging terrain suited for riders with some prior experience.
Lunch by the Campfire
About halfway through the safari, we’ll stop for a hearty soup lunch by a campfire. Warm food and traditional campfire coffee will provide the perfect boost for the rest of the day’s adventure. It’s also a great opportunity to relax, chat with the guide, and enjoy the peaceful winter surroundings.
After the break, we’ll head back towards Ruka. Along the way, our guide will continue sharing riding tips and safety advice to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
